"Not much into a sushi train because its varieties and tastes are likely to target the 'average.' But sometimes I prefer it, particularly when I want a clean and light meal. (As a heavy eater, I tend to have more than 5 plates, though.) In terms of this purpose, Sushiru perfectly fits to it. Sushiru provides very basic options in the menu, such as nigiries with salmon, rolls and hot food items. Among these, I recommend: 1. A salmon nigiri Simple but impressive - Great ensemble in the texture of rice and salmon with a great balance of sourness, saltieness, sweetness and umami. - A bite of it gives me a full sense of four tastes. 2. A salmon and avo nigiri An upgrade version of the 1. Avo and onion 'boost' the 1's taste. 3. Salmon, avo and cream cheese roll For me, it looks leading a subtle tension in the boundary of sushi or not, its taste blows away such my doubt. Cream cheese hacked my taste buds! These three item are my best picks. If you are not a salmon lover like me, rolls with cucumber or cooked tuna might be the best alternatives. Again, Sushiru's sushies and rolls are basic and their tastes are pleasantly faithful to the basic as I expect: clean and light!"

"I don’t understand why this sushi train has such bad reviews, I came here around 3:00pm on a Sunday and found myself my new fav sushi spot in St Ives. The rolls were delicious and the salmon nigiri are thickly cut (insane find) and the sushi wasn’t too mushy nor dry. The plate start at$4.00 and in my opinion are very affordable. I can say I will be coming back and can’t wait. The service and food were great and the severs were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is friendly and great for a long dinner or quick bite. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!!"

"Staff were friendly and helpful. They even catered to my partner’s celiac disease needs providing sushi made with gluten free vinegar and mayonnaise along with gluten free soy sauce upon request! All the sushi was fresh and the chef even pointed out what was safe for my partner to eat. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. Very impressed and will definitely be coming back soon!"
